Founders Colonel Dan Fetzer (retired) spent 24 years in the Air Force, finishing his career as Chief of the Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Defense Division of General Norman Schwarzkopf’s U.S. Central Command staff. He was also an Instructor Pilot, with 2000 hours in the F4 Phantom, and an advisor to the Commanders of the U.S. Pacific Command and the U.S. Central Command. Colonel Fetzer planned and managed major international military exercises involving thousands of military personnel across all military forces. These exercises required highly developed and precise project planning skills, absolute excellence, team leadership skills, patience, and mastery of project documentation. Following his retirement, Col. Fetzer became a teamwork trainer, meeting and event logistical expert, environmentalist, writer, entrepreneur, and –finally – President of Milestone Events. He has an engineering degree from the USAF Academy, an MBA in Systems Management from Washington State University and has done work on a PhD. in business in his spare time. “The success of your event is our #1 concern!”

Carol Maero-Fetzer, founder of Milestone Events, was a former head of the Walt Disney World Education programs. Carol also worked with Covey Leadership Center and, later, FranklinCovey where she was responsible for their annual international conferences, CEO conferences, and senior executive and sales conferences. She was the Pacific Rim promoter and producer of Anthony Robbins “Firewalk Experience" Workshops and leadership trainings, Robert Kiyosaki’s sales trainings, Dr. Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits conferences in the Hawaiian Islands, and hundreds of other leading-edge programs. She has taught The BreakThrough Experience workshop with her husband, Dan, for several years to corporate groups, sales organizations, at-risk students, numerous youth groups, and combined parent and student groups. Immediately prior to establishing Milestone Events and Forte Speakers Bureau (it’s sister company), Carol was responsible for producing and managing national conferences for a national education association based in Washington, DC.
